EVENT AND WORK SPACES FOR HIRE


Blackhaugh Community Farm can host a wide range of events, from weddings and birthday parties to workshops and food festivals. Our main spaces are a community garden, outdoor kitchen and a small indoor hub. 

​The Community Garden
This space is ideal for outdoor gatherings for up to 80 people and  is well resourced for simple, outdoor catering with a purpose built outdoor kitchen. The garden includes: 
  • Open grassy area with plant borders
  • Sandpit and children's play area
  • Outdoor kitchen with cooking worktops, gas stoves, barbecue and pizza oven
  • Firepit
  • Benches and picnic tables
  • Compost toilet
See below for photos of events previously run in this space.  The Community garden overlooks the lower fields and is shielded from the road by buildings and trees. Its a unique, outdoor space with rustic charm that we hire out at affordable rates (see below).  

​The hub
A small indoor space with a basic kitchen (kettle, oven, microwave and sink), tables and chairs, internet access and projection facilities for films or presentations.  This space is suitable for: 
  • Workshops for up to 12 (15 at push!)
  • Film screenings or presentations for up to 20
  • Meetings and small gatherings 
  • Hot desking
The hub sits within our Community Garden and these spaces are available for hire together or separately, click below for our current rates.  Please contact Alice at [email protected] with any hire related enquiries or make a booking request via the form below.  We are keen to support local, social and charitable organisations as well offer an affordable private party option for those wanting something simple but a little different.
